Red Beans And Rice Revue Louisiana's musical heritage is widely known and treasured for it's Cajun, Zydeco, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz and vintage Rock & Roll. In the early 70's a new generation of song writers & musicians emerged melding traditional sounds with a new and vibrant energy. Sonny Landreth, Zachary Richard, Rufus Jagneaux, Mike Doucet and Beausoliel, and the Red Beans and Rice Revue began performing South Louisiana's music for new and broader audiences. From the mid 70's to the mid 80's the Red Beans and Rice Revue toured the Gulf South as dedicated practitioners of this legacy.
